Sutton St James School is very proud to have a fantastic PTA (Parent, Teacher Association) who work very hard each year to organise a variety of events to raise lots of money for the school. This money is used to enhance the children's education in a variety of ways including the purchase of additional equipment and resources such as permanent playground equipment, books for the library and subsidising class visits.
The PTA hold regular meetings throughout the year and are always keen to see new members on the committee or welcome volunteers who are happy to help at events. If you are interested in becoming a committee member or volunteer please keep an eye out for the PTA AGM letter which will be sent home with all children in the new year or speak to the Chair Person of the PTA, Mrs Horsfield, in school.
All communication from the PTA is sent home with children in the form of flyers and letters on pink paper. Also please keep a look out in the School's weekly update where events will be advertised.
