Ben Richardson – Teacher (Herons Class) and English Lead
I was lucky enough to be given the position of Herons Class Teacher (Year 5/6) back in 2018 and since then, have never looked back! I would describe myself as an enthusiastic and animated person who loves to bring every subject to life. This probably stems back to my own personal education where I received a degree in Performing Arts from the University of Lincoln.
I love working in such a beautiful small school. Getting to know every child across every class, gives it a real community feel, which is exactly what we are… a community. Every day, children are smiling and engaging in conversation and there’s nothing better to behold. This is why we teach - we’re one big family here!
When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my family, playing football and visiting stunning places up and down the country, especially the theatre!
‘If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.’
