School Runs a Breakfast Café everyday throughout the school year (unless a whole school visit is taking place and leaving early). Children arrive at 7.50am and come into the hall with all of their equipment for the day (coats, bags, lunch etc). The children will be supervised by two adults (1 member of school teaching staff and one volunteer/Governor). Breakfast offered includes a variety of healthy cereals,  Wholemeal toast, bagels and thins, fresh fruit (melon, pineapple, fruit cocktail), fruit juice and squash. All foods are in line with the school meals healthy eating standards. There is no need to book a place at Breakfast Café. Breakfast Café costs £1 per day for the first child in the family and 50 pence for any further siblings.

At the start of the school day (8.30am), children can access the playground through the wooden side gate, which is opened by a member of staff. Children should then walk through the playground to the red gate at the rear of the school which will be manned by a member of school staff. At 8.40am the red gate and wooden gate will be closed and children will need to enter the school building through the main entrance. In bad weather, children may enter the school through the main entrance from 8.30am onwards. Please ensure that your child is at school in time to put away their coat and bag, make their way into class and be seated ready for registration at 8.45am. All children will be given an educational activity to work on from 8.30 - 8.45am.

At the end of the school day the wooden gate to the playground will be opened at 3.10pm. Parents can then make their way onto the playground where they can wait for their child to be brought out with their class by a member of staff. Children will be released to parents one at a time to ensure that all children are safe. Please be patient during this process as your child's safety is paramount. Children will only be released to adults who have permission to collect that child. Please let the school office know if you are running late as this can be communicated to the child so that they do not become distressed or worried. Children who are collected late will be taken back into school and will need to be collected from the school office.

Please ensure that your child has their PE kit in school every day ready for PE lessons. Thank you
