I initially trained and worked as an occupational therapist where I learnt many valuable skills which I believe have helped me in my teaching career. After having my 3 children I began work as a TA and then decided to make the move to re train as a teacher.
I have worked in most year groups and enjoy the variety of challenges and experiences that working in a school brings. I am particularly enjoying working in a small village school as I love the sense of community and belonging that is so important at Sutton St James.
When not at school, I enjoy playing hockey with my daughter for Long Sutton ladies team. I also enjoy walking particularly since gaining our new addition to our family – Hugo - our Lacasapoo. As a family we have always had many different animals from tortoises to hamsters and guinea pigs to rabbits. Our house is never quiet!
